Diois, a region to discover
The Diois county is full of contrasts and its diversity of landscapes is fascinating. The perfect place for ramblers: from the green fields of the Combeau valley, to paragliding and rock climbing on the cliffs, to the Cirque d’Archiane and its waterfalls.
The region is also famous for the Réserve des Hauts Plateaux, one of the largest protected areas in France, where you’ll be able to admire the flowers as well as the wildlife.
Inhabited for 5000 years, the region is famous for its prehistorical remains such as hannibal’s Cave.
It's the ideal place to discover nature and to enjoy many outdoor sports such as canooing, rafting and biking.
