Hilltop village of Rimon & Savel

At 970m above sea level,  Rimon & Savel  is a charming hamlet which overlooks the Roanne Valley.

It was an important village in the Middle Ages where counts and bishops from Die resided. The village has kept medieval features. The religious influence can be seen through its architecture ,such as a 12th century church and the chapel in the cemetery.
